Awesome Sunday!!!

Services located at the Fine Arts Building on the campus of LSSU

I am very excited about this weekend’s services.  We are so blessed that our music will be lead by the Irish worship band Bluetree.  I have had the opportunity to hear and meet these men of faith.  They don’t come to put on a concert for us Sunday morning but to lead us in a time of worship to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  I know that you will be blessed as they lead us in worship.  They will also be putting on a concert at 6pm on Sunday sharing much of their popular Christian music.

Bluetree coming alone is very exciting but to add even more blessing to the service is our other special guest that we will be interviewing during the service.  Javeria is 22-year-old college student who lives in  Pakistan.  She is currently an intern at Christian Freedom International.   Samantha and had lunch with her the other day and I know you will find her story not only inspiring but informative on our church family around the world.

She will share her story about life in Pakistan for minority Christians and women. The story is her own, and yet at the same time belongs to hundreds of other young people throughout her homeland.  The story is so disturbing, in fact, that revealing her true name and identity would endanger not only her life, but the lives of her family members as well.

Following the morning service, at 2:00 pm, we will be holding a baptism service at the home of Don and Barb Reed (3551 S. Ridge Rd).  Come, worship and celebrate with those who making their public decleration of what God has and is doing in their lives.

Busy day, but one that will be greatly blessed.  I can’t wait until Sunday!  See you soon.
