College Ministries

A Home Away From Home

During the months when Lake Superior State University is in session, the Sault Wesleyan Church becomes the home away from home. Starting this fall the Sault Wesleyan Church will be starting our brand new college ministry known simply as “The Living Room”. All college students are invited to have a great time with many functions. The Sault Wesleyan Church is planning on some great fun this coming school year with bowling nights, food nights, coffee nights, new community groups, and much more. If you would like to be a part of the brand new college group, email Craig McDonald at mrcraig4@yahoo.com.

What is The Living Room?

Were do you most feel comfortable? If your like many of us it is in the comfort of your living room. The living room is our new ministry that happens right in the comfort of home. Much like community groups, the living room is a place for college students to gather to have fun, get connected with each other, and ultimately do life together.

What happens in the Living Room?

We are very excited about this new ministry because The Living Room is all about you. We believe that college students are full of great ideas. We are putting the Living Room into your hands. Starting this school year you will be able to play an intricate role in what happens with the Living Room. We want you to become a part of our family so we are giving you the chance to make this ministry the best. Our goal is to create a college family where we can share life with each other, encourage others to become a part of our family and share the love of God with everyone.

Building a family is what we are all about in the Living Room. We do life together. We are not here just to do a weekly Bible study. We are here to create a family who loves God and shares Him with the world. We are creating a group who will be there for each other through the good times and the difficult times. We plan to have lots of fun (and maybe prank the pastor from time to time). We are looking forward to you stopping by, kicking off your shoes, enjoying some chili, watching the football game, and much more. The Living Room is home away from home.
